When the Cotswold Motor Group, which specialises in new and approved used BMWs, MINIs and BMW bikes, spent £1.5m building a brand new, state-of-the-art MINI dealership in Hereford, it needed a platform lift to allow less able employees to access offices on the building’s first floor.

After consulting movemanSKG, we opted for Prestige and had the unit installed inside the stairwell that leads to the building’s upper level.”

Cotswold’s two-stop Prestige lifts 400kg approximately three metres from the ground floor workshop and showroom to the first floor offices. It has a contemporary clean finish, meaning it blends well with its high-spec surroundings, and a 1100 x 1500mm platform that comfortably accommodates a wheelchair plus an attendant.

“The main installation challenge was coordinating the lift installation with all the other building works,” continued Mann. “However, movemanSKG performed admirably, harmonising its activity alongside other contractors to get Prestige set up as quickly as possible without slowing anyone else down. During a new build delays cost money, so we appreciated the efficiency of movemanSKG’s team.”
