Radcom On The Up With movemanSKG

Radcom Technologies Ltd, leading manufacturer of battery powered data logging and control solutions, recently installed a mezzanine floor. Accommodating continuing business growth, it provides extra storage space at the company’s headquarters in Romsey, Hampshire. Wessex Interiors Limited, a refurbishment specialist, managed the project and specified a movemanSKG goods lift to move heavy stock between levels.

Radcom’s sophisticated data loggers and controllers are used all over the world to control and monitor water. Their functions include detecting leaks in piping, reporting sewage overflows, and monitoring river levels. With expanding markets in the UK and overseas, Radcom is flourishing. This makes its Romsey site extremely busy. MovemanSKG’s goods lift, an ISO-A model, helps it run efficiently.

Brian Jones, Facilities Manager at Radcom Technologies Ltd, is very pleased; "The new movemanSKG goods lift eases manual handling requirements at our facility. Employee welfare is a priority for Radcom, so this is a great benefit. The lift is reliable and performs well under its strenuous daily workload. In addition, the installation from movemanSKG was seamless."

ISO-A is a dumb waiter, often used in pubs and restaurants for transporting food between levels. Positioned at working height, loading and unloading is simple, convenient and ergonomic. This makes ISO-A useful for industrial applications like Radcom, especially if stock is heavy and hard to handle.

ISO-A lifts up to 300kg and features a lift car made of folded stainless steel or galvanised steel sheets, with adjustable guide shoes on each side for stability. There is a choice of bi-parting, single or double-hinged landing doors. Position indicators on each landing station and simple controls make ISO-A user friendly, and overload protection ensures extra safety. The lift comes with two inclusive service visits in the first year of ownership.
